We may be biased, but we think Shogo Ota, the winning designer, came up with one of the best host city posters. Ota, hailing originally from Japan, has called the Pacific Northwest home for more than a decade and is based on Camano Island, Washington. He incorporated a Washington State ferry into the design, along with Orca whale tale, the Space Needle, Mt Rainier, and a sly references to Lumen field (aka Seattle Stadium).

Seattle’s official poster is a lasting symbol of Seattle’s role in the world’s biggest sporting event, showcasing our city's unique identity to fans across the globe.
