First introduced by Dr. Arno Peters in 1974, the Peters Map became one of the most debated world maps ever created. Its equal-area projection represents countries, continents, and oceans according to their relative actual size, making geographic comparisons easier to understand. North-south lines remain vertical, while east-west lines run parallel for a distinctive presentation.

The map also features an informative explanation and comparison panels showcasing four other equal-area projections. Perfect for map collectors, geography enthusiasts, educators, railroad historians, history buffs, offices, classrooms, libraries, and Americana-style interiors.
